1. I agree to accept for use the equipment listed on this form “as is.”
2. I will accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment during the rental period and will do my very best to properly maintain the gear.
3. For any rented gear I return damaged, I agree to pay the associated damage fee listed on the gear damage fee/replacement cost sheet.
4. If I return damaged gear that requires professional service, I agree to pay for the entire bill in addition to a $15 fee. If it is damaged beyond repair, I agree to pay the replacement cost listed on the gear damage fee/replacement cost sheet.
5. If the rented equipment is not returned at the agreed upon date and time, I shall be held responsible for any late fees incurred.
6. If the rented gear is not returned at all, I agree to pay the replacement cost listed on the gear damage fee/replacement cost sheet.
7. If renting a stove and/or first aid kit, I have been properly instructed by the Outdoor Programs staff in its operation and hereby assume all risks associated with its use. I also agree to be the sole operator of the stove(s) and/or first aid kit(s).
8. If I am a member of the Kalamazoo College community and am bringing along a reasonable number of guests, I accept full financial responsibility of my guests if he/she/they fail to comply with any associated charges and/or fees.
9. In relation to all charges, fees, and fines I understand that if I fail to fully pay, the amount owed will be charged to my school account resulting in a hold placed on my transcript until I have paid all corresponding gear rental fees.
